Their most popular albums include debut Who Can You Trust? and Big Calm. They achieved huge international pop crossover success with the single Rome Wasn't Built in a Day in 2000.

Stylistically, the album is by far the band's most trip hop oriented release, consisting of languid, looping grooves, using mostly Rhodes piano, electric guitar and scratching. From the next album Big Calm onwards, the band moved away from trip hop towards a more pop-oriented sound.

Morcheeba - The Antidote (2005) Released on May 31, 2005, The Antidote is Morcheeba's fifth album and the first (as well as the last) with then-new lead singer Daisy Martey. The singles released from this album included "Wonders Never Cease", "Lighten Up" and "Everybody Loves A Loser", none of which reached the UK top 40 singles chart. While receiving numerous positive reviews, the band found plenty of backlash with fans who were angered by the drastic change in sound. Many of the comments were directed towards singer Daisy Martey, who was fired and replaced by Jody Stern. It later arose that Daisy sued both Godfrey brothers for an apparent sexual harassment. She has now returned to her former group, Noonday Underground.
The single "Wonders Never Cease" was featured in commercials for the Discovery Channel.
